Privacy policy
This policy explains how Part-Time Exec ("we", "us") handles personal information collected through parttimeexec.com. We comply with the Privacy Act 2020 (New Zealand).
What we collect
- Enquiry form information — your name, business name, email address and the message you send us.
- Website analytics — anonymised usage data (pages visited, device type, approximate location, referring source) collected via Google Analytics 4.
- Email correspondence — anything you send us by email.
How we use it
- To reply to your enquiry and discuss the services you've asked about.
- To understand how visitors use the site so we can improve it.
- To send you follow-up communications related to an active enquiry. We don't add you to a marketing list.
Who handles your information
To run the website and respond to enquiries we use the following service providers. Each is bound by their own privacy policy.
- Formspree — processes the enquiry form. Privacy policy.
- Google Workspace (Gmail) — receives and stores email enquiries.
- Google Analytics 4 — anonymous usage analytics. Privacy policy.
- Netlify — hosts the website and may log standard request data (IP address, user agent). Privacy policy.
Cookies and tracking
We use Google Analytics, which sets cookies to measure site usage. These cookies don't identify you personally. You can block them in your browser settings or via Google's opt-out tool.
How long we keep it
Enquiry messages are kept for as long as the conversation is useful — typically up to 24 months. Analytics data is retained per Google's defaults (14 months).
Sharing
We don't sell, rent or trade your information. We only share it with the service providers listed above, and only to the extent necessary to operate the site and respond to you.
Your rights
Under the NZ Privacy Act you can ask us to:
- Confirm what personal information we hold about you.
- Correct anything that's wrong.
- Delete your information from our records.

Security
We take reasonable steps to protect personal information against loss, misuse and unauthorised access. No system is perfectly secure, so we can't guarantee against every risk.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The "last updated" date at the top will reflect any changes.
